Hello everyone

I hope that you can offer me some advise on bringing my fiancee "nim" to wales.

We were last together in december and i had planned to complete the visa application myself but . . . . nim is now exspecting my child which i am overjoyed about but also worried that the visa may go wrong and i want my child to be born in wales . . . .

Visa's for cash 100% gauranteed web sites. . . .

Has anybody used these with good results ? ?

I have been quoted by the only bangkok based company i have found £860 fee's and 19,500 baht embassy fee's for nims visa :D

Can anybody give this dad to be any advise on a cheaper company or a recommend an alternative option ? ?

Yours respectfully

John :o

What is "Nim's" background ?

The reason I ask is because the best advice may simply be to go to the embassy and fill in the form , thus adverting the costs of a visa agent.

My suggestion, if you have been in a long term relationship with Nim, go and talk to the visa section of the embassy, ask them questions. I have found the British Embassy in BKK very helpful.

Alas, he is in downtown Cardiff right now, so a visit to the Brit Embassy Bkk is a bit too hard. He certainly can phone 'em and discuss the matter, and I am sure that they'd tell him whether the agent is a good idea or not. Tel 66 2 305 8333 Fax 66 2 305 8372

I think that you are probably right to be worried.

One of the things that the Brit Imm official will be concerned about is that Nim will not be a burden on the British taxpayer! You will need to satisfy them that you can support her for maternity care, birth, etc. Do you have plans for this?

They will also need to be convinced that Nim will return to LOS in accordance with her visa restrictions. You may also have difficulty convincing them.

I wouldn't waste my money on a Visa agent - looks a similar price to a ret. airfair from UK?

If John and Nim were married, the nationality would be British. Birth in Britain only confers British nationality if the mother (or father, if married to the mother) is 'settled' in Britain.

Basically, yes for nationality. I'm not sure about eligibility to play for Wales.

I wouldnt be using any agent who guarantees (unless it is a money back one) the granting of a visa, it's simply not their call, they just know more about the procedures involved.

The Oz embassy has advice booklets for these applications available, surely the poms do too.

That aside, it's been stated and stated over and over again, to give it your best shot get all the supporting evidence you can that your GF will not be a risk of overstay and will not be a burden on the country.

Read the posts there are scrillions and you can get plenty of real life advice from the people who have been there done that.

good luck

Are you aware how much it costs in the UK for a childbirth? It aint free for your nim and will cost the best part of 5,000 GBP upwards I would guess. No way will the embassy give you a visa, becasue in the interview it will be visible that she is pregnant. The baby will need to be born in Thailand (which is a ###### of a lot cheaper as well)

i agree DON'T use these visa services unless there is a 100% guarantee on a full refund (which there won't be)

the brit embassy thelmselves advise not to use visa companies as its the man or lady behind the counter in the embassy who says yes or no outside companies have no influence.

also on all visa applications you pay about 35 pounds which is non refundable even on a refusal, so 800 quid, No way
