Reading Fc

I found the last Reading thread and it was so old it had been archived so I have to start a new one now we are back in the Premiership.

Very happy with the 5 signings McDermott has made, I don't think there will be anymore now, my only surprise was the re-signing of Nicky Shorey. If we are gonna stay up (which is all any promoted team van really hope for) I would have thought that West Brom who let Shorey go on a free would be one of the teams we have to do well against, and if they don't want him why do Reading? Still I have complete faith in Maccy D, I'm sure he knows what he is doing.

I am off to the UK in a few days and have a ticket for the opening match against Stoke City, so I am really looking forward to that.

As far as the season goes I think we will finish around 15th, and I will be chuffed with that. I am not expecting an 8th place finish as we had in our first season the last time we got promoted.

It will be great to watch them play week in week out on the box again...win or lose, can't wait for the start of the season
