Is Renvela (Sevelamer) Available In Thailand

Featured Replies

I am trying to find out if Renvela/Sevelamer is available in Thailand and if so where and how much. Itis a phospate binding drug for people with Chronic Renal Failure (kidney diasese) .

Thanks,

LL

I have not seen it available in the pharmacies here however it might only be available via prescription only. I mentioned it to my renal specialist at Bangkok Medical Hospital and he knew what it was however did not actually confirm that it was available in Thailand.

Your best bet is to wait for @sheryl to answer your question as she's pretty clued up with this sort of stuff.

Thanks both of you for your quick replies. I was trying to find out for an elderly lady who cannot afford this medicine in US. Many times medicines are way cheaper in Thailand.
