<deleted>! How is registration the issue here?

When will 'modern day medieval men' learn that women are more than just things to perve on?

The problem here lies with the demand not the supply.

One has to ask, are you gay by chance?

on the beach singing "l want banana?" yeah right.... how many times have you seen that? more like "stop perving on me you <snip>"

spare me the lame justification... how many topless men have you seen doing the equivalent? this is shameful

i'd love to hear a female opinion on this.... or are there no females on this forum???

there is a time and a place for this, it's called the red light district of bangkok, not an airline with men, women and children

Honest to goodness if that happened on one of the flights I took as a 5 or 6 young boy I would have been all for it. I would have insisted on going on that airline again and again and again.

It would make the airport security lines move much faster.

Will be a jam at the turnstiles though. :(

Surprised how many feminists show up on TV!

Look around you, not just here, or in Vietnam but anywhere in the world. Pretty girls sell. Women's magazines are plastered in them, men's magazines are plastered in them. Adverts for everything from soap to cars, from telephones to houses feature pretty women showing some skin. The airline did it as a publicity gimmick and it's worked. Do you think any airline in the world would have a bunch of male strippers schwinging their way through the cabin? Do you think anyone, man or woman, would want to see that? Get a grip.

It's a bit of fun, they got fined for an unlicenced show and got a bunch of publicity out of it.

Well, I watched the video and thought it was a pathetic show.

A $1000 fine, a farcical response to the farce...

Honestly, its inappropriate. Its also enforcing the image of trolley dollys with no substance. It just looks plain silly and if i was on the plane i would have found it ridiculous.

But as an aside, if they had actually at least been doing some kind of dance and both men and women, maybe it could have worked. But having girls just basically prancing about, bobbing up and down, just comes across as an excuse to stick a girl in a bikini top rather than anything well thought out.

Never a need for an excuse, only permission.

Any excuse to stick a girl in a bikini is fine with me.

After watching, admittedly its a bit lame. Maybe the fine was for that? ..and why are there never any hot guys shaking their stuff? At least the women wouldnt get the hump then! biggrin.png

If you noticed, most of the PAX were men. Did you see any female PAX?

They targeted the appropriate demographic.

^ hmm..actually, i disagree. Looked again and when the camera shows peoples faces i see pretty much an even mix.

Edit: actually, when it does show the passengers..in that part, would seem to have MORE women than men. Families, in actuality.

The problem here lies with the demand not the supply.

Why were there people demanding such a show from the airline?

laugh.png The "demand" is of men wishing to look at beautiful women. It is quite natural for most men, but not true, apparently, for our latest newbie.

But the thing is, women appreciate fine looking men. Women have spending power, and, often, women are the ones to influence their other halves. So why companies dont factor this in their thinking, i dunno. Stick a few attractive men in there, and you have women enjoying the view also. Hubby happy, wife happy, win win! All this does is create disgruntled wifeys, who are probably the ones who complained!

I agree with the sentiment, eek, but if Viet Jet Air is anything like British Airways, the chances of finding a few attractive heterosexual men in the cabin crew is pretty low. laugh.png

Ah well, time for new avatar...

What happened to turning phones off in flight? tongue.png

This could definitely make a long haul flight more fun, though as I usually use a middle-eastern airline, I don't suppose there's much chance of that happening. wink.png
