Foldable Electric Bicycle, Where To Buy ?

Featured Replies

As we all know, drunk driving is henceforth prohibited in this used-to-be-paradise.

So i wonder were to buy aforementioned bicycle so i can peacefully give

every police & lao taxi driver the finger as i pass by.

Brompton & Dahon seem to have good reputation, but i dont know where to buy,

and i can be flexible on the brand since i havnt got a clue bout bicycles anyway,

i just want the complete thing including the electric propulsion

Never heard of Brompton being sold in Thailand and importing from the UK is likely to result in hefty import duty. Still probably a better option than buying an unreliable Chinese bike. Brompton are top quality and have impressive battery range.

You can get Bromptons here --> One Fine day, 27/2 Soi Lasselle 23, Bangna, Bangkok. Tel: 02-7444077 or 081-1704499. This shop is behind Bitec Bangna. Price for a 6 speed is about Baht5x.xxx

LA Bicycles sells some bicycles with an electric support motor, check them out at http://www.la-eride.com

Also if you're drunk and ride a bicycle you still taking part in traffic and can still be arrested and facing court for drunk driving... you would not be the first who thinks that a bicycle is the solution...

Not folding, and not electric, but intriguing and a lot cheaper than the imports...

Yes, i like these thingies too. But imo much too dangerous in Thailand. Looks like a bicycle but fast as a small motorbike. Not difficult to imagine what will happen if you ride faster than an average thai-bicycle and use the street like a motorbike with it.
