I am also going to Yangon in mid September. I have my flight and hotel etc etc.

I have 3 days in Yangon. How could I use my time? I am not interested in visiting temples.

Thanks

James

Again - need more information if you want advice.

No idea what you would be interested in doing....apart from the fact that you don't want to visit temples (so you can strike Shwedagon Pagoda off your list....)

Buy a guide book and do some reading.....when you narrow it down - get back to us....thumbsup.gif

(edit - I just noticed that "agoda" in "Pagoda" is automatically changed to a hyperlink when posting - BIZARRE)

I am also heading that way but have a question of a different nature. Just how much of the country and we allowed to freely visit? Is there a permit required situation for visiting the border regions?

Thanks

I am assuming they are a sponsor of thaivisa.

If you look at the pinned topic of how to book a hotel in Myanmar there is purely a link to agoda.
