I am not affiliated with the bar. Just passing on what I think TV members might enjoy.

Tried this place a couple of times shortly after it opened - I found it too cold (for me), and the food and drink was over-priced and the food rather tasteless.

Agreed but it is worth going on Frodays just to see Howard as he is so good.

The only magic there is how quickly your wallet will empty.

the magic guy is truly amazing. I saw him at a big 'hi so' charity event and he was the big deal that night.

They also have a band there which sounded fine to me. During their breaks they come by to each table to say hello to the customers. For some reason they skipped me, must be the charm I exude. ermm.gif But I do agree that the place is pricey.

I don't know about other people but I'm always disappointed in these 'Irish' pubs. They seem to be plastic and formulaic and have little real atmosphere. I'm from the UK; one of the things I do miss from home is the pub and bars in Ireland and Scotland are amongst the best of them IMHO. These chains of Irish pubs that you see all over Asia are not my cup of tea at all (apologies for the mixed metaphor).
