My brother is coming to Thailand for a month trip and he is looking for a driver to drive him mostly around Bangkok and also as a Translator. He may not need to rent a vehicle as he can use mine.

He will need the service of the driver most of the days of his trip.

Anyone knows where can I find a reliable and reasonable priced driver and translator?

You should be able to find a driver come translator for a 1000 baht a day, if not less!

Another post in TV under Thailand news says drivers are the 3rd most unwanted job in Thailand and there is a shortage of over 3500 drivers right now.

Add to that you want them to translate well enough to due business, that is under 5% of the Thai population that can do that.

Anyone decent will command top money that is well earned

perhaps he needs someone fluent in something other than a Lao or Khmer dialect of Thai and who speaks something better than Thinglish. Also, someone presentable, i.e. without multiple tramp stamps and cooties might be preferable.

Almost every driver I have met is from Issan - pretty much common knowledge. Does he need someone to sort him out or a freaking lawyer?
