[Myanmar] Burma, Bangladesh Border Reopens

The border gates between Burma and Bangladesh have reopened following an easing of tensions in Arakan State, the news agency Narinjara reported. The decision to allow cross-border trade and travel was taken at a meeting of the Bangladeshi border guard force and its Burmese counterpart, commonly known as the nasaka. The report quoted sources from both sides of the border as saying they expected trade to normalize soon.
