hello

i have read a few posts about Iphone4/s and having then unlocked.

Does anyone know where you can buy a micro sim at Swamp airport? I think that it may not work hence the unlocking posts.

Used to just buy a 1-2-call sim for my old phone but now that I am 'with it' and have a Iphone 4s I wonder what the options are?

Cheers

yep, thanks, but the question is, will it work?

Anyone?

Any of the big telecoms DTAC, true Ais all have micro sims

Will it work ??? Depends if your iPhone is unlocked or not , if not you can go to MBK and buy a gevey sim

Works as an unlocking thingy

As above, if your phone is already unlocked any of the micro sims here AIS, True,Dtac will work, don't think you will find a shop at the airport that will sell a micro sim, although I haven't tried the shops on the lower level, another option is to bring a cutting tool with you and cut the sim to fit (plenty standard size sims to be found at the airport),, if your phone isn't unlocked maybe an option to get your regular network supplier to unlock it for you (if that's who you purchased the phone from) I was with 3UK told them I was moving to Los and had it unlocked by them before I left for around £20

That's good to know, couldn't find one for my son when he arrived on holiday a couple months back, although I only trawled the shops on the arrivals level and the level below where starbucks etc are whilst waiting for his flight to arrive.

Thanks

Thanks all

Probably best to get unlocked in UK. At least then it's unlocked for good and then issues in the future.

I am with Orange in UK and a quick call to them has told me that it's free is you have the phone over 6 months on a contract of which I have so all good.

Interesting posts thankfully received.

Thanks for taking the time to respond.
