If you want to try a cheap alternative the AP Bike Shop 122 seems to sell a lot of those little GLP hipermap boxes As far as I can tell they work kind of like a PC5 except I think they work mainly on the O2 side of the loop. Comes with 2 maps I think & runs about 2k baht Their installer could use some beautify lessons though zip tied to the frame?? They have a FB page Edited August 26, 2013 by mania
ll2
^ that sounds good mania. if they have something properly working for 2 k, i am ok to go full system exhaust. airbox mod and a nice air filter, it can be superb. could not find info about it but sending them a pm now. no phone number also. mania
^ cool Mania, thanks. will give them a call today. if it is only 2000 thb, i am there and will also get the header for my slip on for making it a full system! fingers crossed! Will be interested to hear how it works for you LL As I said I believe it works on the O2 loop which some FI Controllers actually block off. So I am guess it is tricking the ECU into think a different condition exists & lets the ECU make a change? I am not sure but that is what I think they are doing on that one. Because I once saw a pic of the splice into the system & it was spliced into the harness leading to the O2 sensor not the fuel Injectors + it is called O2 Hiper map sensor But....I see that company that makes it also sells a FI controller too http://www.glpracing.com/forums/index.php/topic,54.0.html You may want to ask about both & see PS: The O2 Hiper Map appears to be their O2map + hiper map meaning it now can switch between 2 maps. Their original had just one map. http://www.glpracing.com/forums/index.php/topic,42.0.html But again all via the O2 sensor Edited August 27, 2013 by mania
ll2
i will check all. i think O2 optimizer is just sending a fake signal to ecu like 'hey ecu, i am going lean and i need more fuel" O2 optimization is a must on new generation budget bikes of honda, same for cbr250r as well. i see the injector thing too and a photo of a cbr500r O2 hiper installed but no dyno which makes me sad a bit. i wonder too, will let my staff call them this afternoon. thanks again for the finding mania, this is cool really. In their forums they have Dynos but too small to really be of use Maybe you can ask them directly for a better copy. mania
RSV Racing is always making some nice things They recently made that nice swingarm for the ninja 250/300 Now I see they have made a nice set of triple clamps for the Honda 500 series CBR,F,X etc. & Super 4's Also Kawasaki ER6 If someone want to upgrade their forks to something more serious this would be a nice deal at about 11k baht Looks like they are even stocking fork legs too But I did not see a price mentioned Edited August 28, 2013 by mania

mania
yes, it is:) mania, do you have a link on this? LL I am 99.9% sure it is of course just the triple tree for 11k no way anything more. As to links Their website like many Thai web sites is useless. Most Thai bike businesses do all their business on FaceBook Here is RSV's https://www.facebook.com/RSVRACING
ll2
haha, it should be perfect to get them all but i wonder if they can fit a upside down forks on it?
mania
haha, it should be perfect to get them all but i wonder if they can fit a upside down forks on it? Sure LL why not? It is done all the time even have seen USD forks on N250's It is not a big deal just needs the triple clamps to hold legs x sized & also of course should keep geometry like rake & trail the same unless you seek something specifically different in handling But that is achieved through the frames head angle & length of forks nothing else Main question will be does a CBR500 owner want to put this kind of $$ into it? Here is a CBR500 with the RSV clamps & USD forks on Edited August 28, 2013 by mania

Gomyway
Good find Mania This looks very good, I only think the wheels are from a Gixxer or maybe the CBR 1000 - look at the 3 spokes and the other swing arm. Yesterday I went in the city and had a 500 X in front of me with an aftermarket exhaust with nice sonorous sound. I don't know the make since I couldn't follow the guy with my Hayate, maybe the turbo didn't start

mania
The forks from RSV are 15,000 baht where did you see that price for the forks? On FB I have seen him say 15k for แผงคอ which translates to "mane" ( of animal ) & บน Which means on top Which I guessed to be the triple tree Do you have somewhere to see that fork price or did you call him? I know they are not Ohlins which cost 85k but 15k would be very cheap for USD forks EDIT: This is what I saw as his latest post ( actually his wife I think as it ends in Ka ) แผงคอ บน-ล่าง+แฮน+น๊อต+ค่าแรงค่ะ 15,000 บาท So I roughly understand it to mean mane on top - (minus) lower & handlebar & not? + wages/labor costs? 15,000 baht heheh beats me in the end if I were interested I would say call them Edited August 29, 2013 by mania
mania
I see they have responded to an English speaker saying "This price for Top Bridge Steering stem Only .Not included wheel and brake." Which is still not really clear if that means triple only or triple & forks which I doubt price wise

The steering stem being the main point of attachment to the head of the bike. That aside I just do not see any possibility at all of that machined triple clamp + the forks costing 15k RSV sells just their rearsets for 3.5-5k There is way more work in those triple clamps
bramds
Maybe it is only the forks, without the triple clamp that cost 15K Because i bellieve the triple clamp alone is 11k

So it could be the 11k was premature? Someone with a 500 should call & see But even if the forks were 15k that would be some very questionable forks. Just buying a decent pair of springs for my stock forks was 4k Edited August 30, 2013 by mania
