do any used bookstores on phuket(mainly looking for places located in karon, kata or phuket town)allow you to trade books with them? or do they only accept books that you've bought from them? if they do accept books not bought from them, how much cedit do they offer? do they offer a standard amount per book regardless of condition or title popularity or do they know which authors sell and which ones don't?

In short yes they do, I did this myself last year, I have no idea how much will be offered, this you will find out at the time.

If you buy books from most second hand book shops they give you 50% credit on exchange

I have taken my own books to shops which are in good condition and popular novels and got the same 50% credit, all the books were english
