Expat Housing Near Laguna Hotels

My first post here. Need your help. I am in Phuket this week for a job interview at a hotel in the Laguna resort. I am hiring a driver to take me around today to look at possible housing areas near the hotel. Any recommendations on housing projects or areas near Laguna. A feeling of security is important to the wife. Looking for a two bed min, fully furnished.

Also housing allowance has been brought up but not finalized. Any suggestions on total housing costs (rent, electric, cable, etc) is appreciated.

There are some condo projects in Bangtao that should suit you. Lersuang Group I think is one of the companies.

If you can get 20,000thb housing allowance that would put you in the ballpark.

Is it Outrigger you are going to work for (?), I understand they will run the old Laguna Beach resort. Cheers, GOM
