Walen School Expansion In Phuket

Hi guys, thank you very much for all your support in making Walen Phuket a very successful school. We are growing every month and more and more students appreciate our teaching system.

We expect to grow further so we rented a townhouse next to us as it just become available and will be making modifications to convert it into a school. Having more space we will also be able to teach art. Specifically photography and film but if enough demand also modeling and acting.

We are also contemplating opening another branch in another part of Phuket so suggestions for a good location would be very much appreciated.

Walen School

does photography and art qualify for education visa?

Not yet but we will work on it. It may take some time as the registration process of new courses is slow in Thailand but I believe it will be possible.

Chalong seems like an obvious choice for a second branch.

Would it be possible to compound lessons between subjects (for example 160 hours thai and 20 hours photography) for a one year ED visa package?

a friend of mine already taking classes with another school in chalong and got an ed-visum with them, can he change school without leaving the country?

Mac, have any Burmese language instruction?

We tried to do it in Bangkok and we were not able to assemble even a small class. If we tried to get a class online, would that be of interest?

The Phuket branch is in Chalong already. (Patak rd near the circle.)

For some reason I was sure the school was in patong!

Now I'm even more interested to know if one can mix photography lessons with Thai classes for an ED visa.

I am pretty sure you can once they get the classes going. Call them and ask. Their number is 076 384 588
