Double Visor Helmet

Featured Replies

Are they available in Thailand? I have seen ads on TV from Australia, never seen the real thing here.

If available, any idea of price and where to find them?

My small brain is contained in quite a large head, so farang size appreciated.

A friend got his from a place based in Chaingrai, a full face opening type helmet with a drop down sun visor, large sizes available, it was 3999 baht and sent by EMS the next day.

They do have different makes and the helmets have a American and British standard kite mark which maybe genuine.biggrin.png

There are many shops in Pattaya and Bangkok, if you say where you are located some here will tell nearest to go.

I am between Bangkok and Pattaya, so both locations could be good for me, Bangkok a bit better. Thank you very much for the fast reply and advice.

Real makes one as well. Helmet2home will redirect you to the parent site auto2speed, which I use. They are located near China Town, but will EMS anywhere in Thailand.

As previously mentioned Paddock has some HJC and other brands with double visor.

Dirt Shop Thailand - http://www.dirtshopthailand.com/ - has some good Nolan and X-lite.

Panda Rider - http://www.pandarider.com/Panda/Product_Helmets.htm - some Airoh, Lazer and Shubert

Riders Outlet - https://www.facebook.com/RidersOutletBKK#!/RidersOutletBKK some Sharks and other previously mentionned brands.

You can find the location of those 4 shops in Bkk on the map of the motorcycle directory project:

Riders DNA, 5th floor MBK has a couple of brands of flip-up helmets with the inner sun visor. The drawback is that they are heavy compared to plain full-face helmets.
