Motorbike Tires

Featured Replies

How do you get and where do you get a motorbike tire in this country, my mate wants to change his rear tire from a 130x40x17

To a 140x40x17 been looking all day without any luck, Honda dealers same answer "no have" 3 different prices for the same tire, IRC road winner rear, 3900, 2900, and 2200 all from Honda dealers within a few minutes of each other, oh and different delivery times ranging from 1 month to a few weeks, crazy country!!

Go to an independant dealer Honda is always over priced good luck !!!!

Where and who are the independent dealers?

Where are you located?

And what kind of riding do you do, fast road use / track, touring, commuting?

Michelin make good tyres, as do the rest of the bunch.

A little more info and i'm sure people can match your riding with the 'best' tyre ;)

Try the IRC IZR003 - comes in 140/70-17 - pretty good tire, and very reasonably priced. I think they are around 3.5k new from Honda.

Located in Phuket, not a fast rider so I guess you could say just normal fun riding, the stock tires are fine, it just seems so difficult to get anything here with many people saying "no have" sorted now but it was difficult.
