Lower Sukhumvit, Bkk True Docsis Outages

Featured Replies

5 hours on friday, 1.5 hours today.

True is not giving me any info, and sending a tech tomorrow early.

this is happening more and mor frequently, anyone nearby having the same problem?

Technicians are constantly mucking about with the overhead wires in my neighborhood, they lean ladders right up against the cables! Street-side cabinets are often unlocked and open, with various techs inside punching down new connections, new cables and subscribers are getting added daily, and when really tall buses turn down smaller sois/sub-sois I see the driver's assistant using a long pole to raise the overhead cables a meter or so so the bus can pass underneath - that can't be good - so hopefully a simple cabling issue which can be sorted out. They have pretty decent test equipment which should help them isolate/identify the issue.

Cable/DOCSIS systems are, or can be, a bit finicky to maintain.

49 hours, what do I win?

49 hours of peace from the internet?

I did actually see sunlight for the first time in 4 years- but I think it remains overrated.

Lucky you.

I'm in Asoke and this afternoon, the service just got really slow all of a sudden.

Called True - they're sending out a tech tomorrow so I've had to use my phone's HSDPA instead.

Guess I'll have to wait to download last night's Boardwalk Empire then
