He came to my house about six months ago to quote my new pool.

From pattaya one.

" The German Managing Director of the well-known Lomatec Company based in Jomtien was killed in a single vehicle road accident in Jomtien just before daybreak on Saturday.Police and rescue services were called to Jomtien Second Road in front of Soi 9 just after 5.30am to deal with the crash which caused the death of Mr. Michael Lambauer aged 39 from Germany, who has lived in Pattaya for many years and was the Managing Director of the Lomatec Company based in Jomtien. He was also a Harley-Davidson enthusiast and member of a local Motorbike Club.Witnesses to the crash suggested he was driving at a high rate of speed and erratically as he approached a curve in the road which he was unable to negotiate. The bike hit a street pylon head-on which caused the immediate death of Mr. Lambauer who suffered major life-ending injuries to his upper body. At the time he was driving a 750cc Harley Davidson which sustained major damage consistent with a high-speed collision.Police examined tire tracks and confirmed no other vehicles were involved. A post mortem examination will take place which will include a toxicology exam to determine if excess alcohol may have contributed to the fatal crash. The investigation is ongoing.

"No other vehicles were involved"?

Do Thai's use their brakes if they hit someone?

Another quality investigation by the BIB

On a more serious note, my heart goes out to the family and loved ones :(

Yes, here is the existing thread

http://www.thaivisa....ash-in-jomtien/

also holly agree with the caution that it is no game driving here on an MC,

i've been cut off so many times, and also have scars from 3 incidents to prove

it is dangerous here.

I'm scared every second there is anyone in front of me,

or may get in front of me in a split second.

A friend saw another unfortunate bike accident on saturday on the highway between Sisaket and Ubon. It appears a farang riding a "chopper" had misjudged a corner then slid into a bridge. He looked in a bad way. Rescue were starting CPR as my friend drove past. I hope the guy survived.

I saw another tonight, a middle aged Thai woman................ Helmetless........ Enough said crying.gif

I'm sick of seeing sights like this, shortly after seeing this incident I passed another motorcyclist who was carrying his helmet in his left hand while riding the bike with his right........ 1zgarz5.gif
