Popular program music from Debussy and Respighi tops this stellar virtuosic program. Claude Debussy’s audience favourite La Mer is paired with the triumphant Pines of Rome by Ottorino Respighi. Principal guest conductor Claude Villaret leads this program and is joined by virtuoso piano soloist Gustavo Romero, performing Brahms Piano Concerto No. 2.
