reefsurfah Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 I brought an iphone 4s from ATT that I got unlocked in USA by a third party. I'm able to connect to the 3G network, however, I can't send/receive data even after using an APN changer (unlockit.co.nz) and/or setting the APN (I needed to do a sim swap to get to that menu). I've tried a different sim from TRUE move, I went to one of their branch offices and it still didn't work. Any advice here?
chris1dna Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 I hope we get some insight a I was about to have the same thing done to my at&t 4s before my next trip over. My wife I there now and using one of our old 3gs's. I'll ask her if she is getting 3G data in it and get back to here about that at least. Sent from my iPhone using ThaiVisa app

I am wondering if anyone has it working, perhaps even using other carriers like DTAC or AIS.
chris1dna Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 I guess it's just the fours then yes? Wify said 3GS no problem on 3G network in Bangkok so there ya have it. Hope we hear of a solution or resolution about the 4's soon as I'm goin to hold off on the unlock till then I think and just take our other 3GS with me instead. Sent from my iPhone using ThaiVisa app
nikster Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 You have tried "Reset Network Settings" right? Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings For normal iPhones, that fixes 3G issues most of the time.
