So I have the latest type of click for a couple of months now. It drives fine, everything works and looks good.

When I think back about when I bought it, I never really did research...

Nowadays I drive a PCX sometimes or a wave, novou as rental bikes or from friends. I came till the conclusion that the dual shock is quite comfortable.

Still I like the design of the click and I don't want to sell it. So I saw that the rear end (part which holds the exhaust and rear wheel) from the pcx is the same as the click. This make me think to make the click to a nice project to change it to a dual-shock bike.

Technically it would be possible but can anyone tell me if I don't totally mess up the balance and driving conditions of the bike?

Isn't the click a single sided swingarm?

While I agree it would have been nicer as a centered mono shock type

It was after all a utility scooter so costs were probably considered.

I do not think anyone is going to out-engineer Honda by adding a 2nd shock to this bike.

You did not clearly state your reasons for considering their single shock a problem?

Perhaps a better solution is just upgrade the existing shock to a better unit if the problem you have with it

is shock absorption & rebound dampening

Go crazy and do it for the Thai Visa team!

Honda put mediocre suspension units on the back end of scooters anyway.

You can show em how it should be done.

Send some pixs of the conversion to Honda World HQ in Japan. Someone will take notice....but it will probably be the cleaning lady.

The swing arm won't be the problem as it is indeed the same as on the pcx which sports two shocks.

Mounting the upper part of the shock to the bike frame will be the challenge.

Also if you do go ahead, you'll have to change the existing one to two softer ones or you'll end up with a rock hard ride.

So overall it won't be cheap!

I don't think the mono-shock is a real problem. I do think it would be more comfortable and it would be a nice project.

At the moment I have my questions laying at some specialists in my home country... if proceeding on I will keep you all posted.

If not than I will get a aftermarket suspension.

In my opinion the costs will not be outragious since the only costs are a swingarm, and double suspension. The work itself I can do for fun.

Don't cheap out on getting the top bracket welded on to the frame, your life may depend on the quality of the weld.
