Hi all, how often or how many kms/miles do I change the oil in last years model Honda Click i?

I change every 4000 Km.

Same on my wave 125i, it's what the Honda maintenance schedule indicates anyway...

Can't see oil change schedule but mine was 1000, then 4000 I think.

4000 km is what stands on the manual, but if you ask a mecanic, they say 2000-3000 on god brand oil. On my bikes I change every 1000 km, the oil is cheap, so why not? If you buy a yamaha fino in thailand it's 4000 km, but if you buy the same bike in cambodia (made in thailand), it's 1000 km, they blame it on the bad roads in cambodia.

Same here, every 1000 km (although not for Click, but for Wave and PCX).

Personally I think 1000 km is way overkill.

Modern oil quality should allow much longer life then that.

And IMO especially on water cooled engines (as the click is) where engine and oil temperatures tend to stay in a narrower band then air cooled engines.

My bike does around 20,000 km/year, at 1000 km intervals that would mean an oil change every other week!

My click ran perfectly fine for 60,000 km with 4000 km oil intervals, after which some problems started but those were generated by the silly mechanics working on it.

A certain shop actually managed to deliver my bike without any oil in it at all, needless to say it didn't run very long, and then even tried to charge me for the labor when repairing their own mess....

After the repairs, things are back to normal for about 6000 km now...
