I plan on celebrating! Why, because starting on the 22nd the daylight hours will be longer and my electric bill will go down! Am I missing something?

Nothing, but I guess I'll have to listen to people on 22nd saying; "so the world didn't end then?" huh.png

I thought the world was to end on 12/12/12?

Has it been rescheduled to the 21/12/12?

No, this years apocalypse has always been scheduled for 21. December 2012.

So yes I will do a little "I am still alive" celebration on the morning of Dec 22.

Up to now I think the average Somchai has not taken notice of the upcoming apocalypse, but I guess it will be in the news shortly before, so they can flock to the temples biggrin.png

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_dates_predicted_for_apocalyptic_events

This is a list of predicted dates for apocalyptic events such as the Rapture, Last Judgment, or any other event that would result in the end of humanity, civilization, the planet, or the entire universe. The list shows the dates of predictions from notable groups or individuals of when the world was, or is, forecast to end.

A lot of failed predictions....

Ha! Right on. How about this one:

http://money.cnn.com/2011/06/01/pf/doomsday_inheritance_donations/index.htm

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- When the world didn't end on May 21, many people who had given up their earthly possessions were left with nothing.

But one believer never lived to see the day. She left nearly her entire estate -- around $300,000 -- to the group behind the failed prediction, leaving some family members out in the cold.

As P.T. Barnum said: There's a sucker born every minute.

The rest of the world might end on the 21st but I cannot see something as important as that happening in Thailand on time.

If the worst happens elsewhere on 21st I reckon about noon on the 23 rd here.

Saves having to spend all that dosh over Xmas.

It will actualy be a waste cos most people buy their stuff in the weeks prior.

Perhaps we should celebrate chrissy on the 20th this year.

So......what time of day is it all going to end on the 21st. I don't want to bother getting up and shaved and showered only to be oblivionated a couple of minutes later! (I know it's not a word but I don't care cos we're all gonna die!!!)

Am getting a 456 Italia on the 20th morning...

In that case it's better that the world ends on the 21th as there will be a moderate chance that you can say the car never failed on you. biggrin.png
