Looking For A Good Landscape Gardener

We're looking for a good landscape gardener in Chiang Mai - someone reliable with a decent imagination and reasonable prices to design and install (if that's the right word) a new garden from scratch around two houses on a plot. If you've had any recent experience with anyone you'd care to recommend, please PM me. Thanks.

Sorry about the "reboot" of this thread, but rather than start another one, etc, blah blah.

Anyone had any joy with garden designers and or landscaping here?

Had one mob come over to do a quote 2 months ago, still waiting for the quote.rolleyes.gif

Cheers in advance.wai.gif

I've ended up using Garden & Friends who have offices in Kamptien Market and adjacent to the car park at Global House. Khun Jadet speaks good English and talks the talk - the jury is still out if the walk matches up to it - will have to wait until the job is done at the end of the year to see. His prices don't seem out of line with what we got quoted for individual services or plants but the problem we ran into was that none of the others we tried followed through (or even, is some cases answered their phones).

If you find a good contractor or have useful experience, please add details to the thread. The problem (as with builders) is that anyone who is any good has more work than they can handle. Good luck!

I used Garden & Friends. Very quick and professional. From first meeting, to on site recce, to visual design presentation was one week. Paid the first payment and the team was at the house before I got back from Kamtieng! All work was done quickly and cleanly. Adjustments were done very quickly and to my satisfaction.

Overall very happy with the finished product and the aftercare. Eighteen months later have had few plants die and am still happy with the results.

It was not a large job but an intricate one that was well handled.
