Yesterday I was posting about septic tanks in the housing forums. Everything was in feet/inches/gallons etc. etc. and I wanted to put both volumes, distances etc. in for all readers.

I have a handy and free lightweight proggy that sits on my desktop which will convert "anything" from temperature C or F to volume, distance - you name it. Here's a link to download and below is a screen shot where I chose the "volume" tab and then gallons to liters. It's really helpful around here for me.

I just use Google for all of that, right in the search box.

Downloaded and installed it. Google is a solution but cumbersome. The convert.exe is easy, versatile, complete and free.
