water-2.jpg

PATTAYA:--Following Friday’s news of 6 young bulls who had died of suspected poisoning and the discovery of dead fish in a nearby lake, the local authorities are now working hard to ensure that everyone including humans and animals stay away from the river until test results are received which will confirm if hazardous materials are present in the river.

On Friday, trucks fitted with loudspeakers drover up and down a 5km stretch of the river and visited small communities to inform them of the news.

There is a concern that many use the river to fish in and any consumption of contaminated fish could ultimately prove deadly.
