[Myanmar] Burmese Busted In Crackdown On Illegal Stalls

Malaysian authorities on Sunday arrested 385 foreign migrants, including 105 Burmese nationals, in a three-hour operation to shut down unlicensed stalls in Kuala Lumpur, according to a report by Malaysia’s state-run Bernama news agency. “Today’s operation focused on unlicensed petty trading and monitoring of foreign migrants,†said an official from the Kuala Lumpur City Hall Enforcement Department. The operation, which involved 120 enforcement personnel from various government agencies, also netted 138 Bangladeshis, 117 Nepalis, 10 Indonesians, 10 Indians and five Pakistanis.
