Hi

I'm new on here, everyone has probably heard what i have to say a million times but i would like to know about other people's success in getting a uk tourist visa.

I am 27 and have been with my girlfriend who's 20 for one and half years, we have spent about half of that time together in thailand and other holidays together in laos, phillipines, malaysia and Turkey where she met my parents. I have also met her mother, brother and family members during my visits to thailand.

I know the whole process of getting evidence for a visa as i have spoken to a few visa agencies.

i have photo evidence of everywhere we have been.(flights, passport stamps for holidays, pictures together etc)

I also have evidence of calls and messaging when we are apart on skype, whats app & other calling networks.

She has paper evidence of the apartment she rents, scooter she owns and will get a letter of proof from her job she has been working at for a year in koh samui airport to say she's having time out of work.

I want her to come stay at my parents house in the UK as i do not own a property myself and they are willing to write a letter saying she can stay at there property and will cover all expenses. If any other proof is needed they will show last 6 months bank statements, council tax letters, no mortgage etc.

i'm also willing to cover all costs and show my last 6 month bank statements to show sufficient funds.

i would like her to stay at my parents place for the whole 3 months of the tourist visa and her work are ok with this and will keep her job open for her return.

what chance do you think we have in a successful tourist visa?

can anyone please tell me there stories about getting a uk tourist visa?

From what you say, I think you have a reasonable chance of getting a visa for your girlfriend. The only thing that concerns me is the length of the visit. It is unusual, but not unknown, for employers to grant lengthy leave in Thailand, but the ECO might be sceptical. It might depend on her position in the company, length of service, etc.

If we can help, then please contact us through the Thai Visa Express website.
