That is so weird. You didn't happen to drop by Chiang Mai University as a few days ago we had the exact same 7 legged version. A friend commented on it asking that he thought spiders had 8 legs.

No to far away, though this monster took on a small bird last week. But the bir won, maybe it's nest in in CM.

A day later the bird returned to collect the gargantuous web . Properly doing some home improvement .

In my hunt for one of the same, (spider) I came across this...Hawk, Often see a pair at the west end of Maenam beach, Samui.... perhaps on the hunt for spiders!
