Hi,

I lost my old unused dtac Happy sim card so I went to dtac shop to buy new sim card. They refused to sell one as I can't activate / purchase any package at the moment. I told them to sell anyway, I can wait until network upgrade whatever finished.

If you check dtac.co.th website, there is an announcement. It seems since 16 January they have this problem and there is no due date for repairs to complete.

Right now my sim card did not even activate. Can't send ussd commands (network timed out). You can refill though, but can't buy 3G internet package (yay!)

It was surprising it wasn't even mentioned here on Thaivisa.

network upgrades are still in progress as far as i know. the payment gateway is on and off. so you can't transfer funds /top-up only some times. i did top up 60 min ago. no problems there.

It's not going to be ready until next week. Idiots. I've already been through twice and had to buy pay-as-you-go credit for my dongle.
