Hi Folks

I have decided to upgrade my Toyota Vigo...

I have been approached by one of the Bangkok car dealerships, who advertise .....they have made me an offer (not as good as I would have expected)

Has anyone any experience in selling to these type of people?

I am aware they there are many "pitfalls" to look out for ......and will have my Thai fiance overseeing the negotiations.

But has anyone had actual experience in selling in this manner (i.e. to Traders)

Any info' would be much appreciated

Many thanks

Have you thought of selling vehicle yourself and not use a dealer because you will make more on the deal. I sold mine quickly and was satisfied with sale price.

Yep easy enough to do and worth the extra funds made.

if the car is not financed its a straight forward deal, if it is, best not to do it.

a mate of mine traded his car for another, the dealer/trader did not pay off his car as he was suppose to do, and sold it onto someone else while my mate was still being chased by the bank even though had all the legal papers confirming the sale.
