I'm in town with the kids for a few days, they love steak, Been to Beefeaters Soi Diana a few times, but would like to try another. I see mixed reviews in the forum, anyone have an update?

Thanks tg

I see there is a Sizzler in the new central building, They're pretty low quality in the US, any better here?

Forget Sleezeler for steak, they are no better here than stateside, although we do enjoy going there for the salad bar only. We have heard that you can get a really great steak at Claudio's in Jomtien complex.

I'm no steak expert but I've eaten in Patricks Belgian restaurant a couple of times and the steaks were good, plus lots of other options on the menu. It's in the arcade almost opposite Beefeater.

Thanks for the input.

I've had lunch specials at Patricks, they did a good job.

Jomtien is worth a try if I get out that way,

The Lonestar has a nice menu, prices in line with the market.

I'll post a review after dinner

Thanks again

Manhattens on Thappraya Road has very good quality of steaks, but prices (specially when you go with family and kids) are on the higher end

Used to be good but now IMO it's poor, would NOT return again.

This place at Soi LK Metro has their well known special steak nights.

I haven't tried as yet but have tried the restaurant.

Looks promising.

I very much do not enjoy the ambiance of this place, reminds me of an unpleasant bar in the American midwest, but anyway:

This place does great steaks and hamburgers but it is a bar and not quite the place to bring kids to. I have always been forced to sit in the bar as it seems the older expats tend to park at the outside tables and spend the day/night in the same seats.

Beefeater is pretty hard to beat for the price.

Sizzler is okay but their beef tenderloin is smallish but you do get the salad bar to fill up on and desserts if you have any room left.

I'm not much of a steak guy, but my wife loves them and says that Rim Talay on Wong Amat Beach at the end of Soi Naklua 18, next to the Centara Resort, has very good ones.

If you dont mind a little run out the CC Road house about 5-6 k up Soi Siam Country club does the best Steaks in the area.

The place is a little ruff, but it was a Biker bar.

But the food, Steaks and Burgers etc. are second to non.

Ouch....I must admit I haven't been there for a while. Shame, was a good place. I have steak quite often, but usually cook it myself.
