Khao Lak

Chaloklum beach Koh Phengan.... often used to dry the night catch of squid!

Sadly   to say Khao Lak was not like that in early 2005 nor the year later.

 

Khao Lak’s resort area now seems more like a desert than a walk through this tropical paradise. This area is now devoid of any vegetation except for the trees left behind.

off part of Maenam beach, Samui, this afternoon! Smallest Squid boat I have ever seen!

SW west side of Samui today, Ban Kao beach, .... Horses ready for riding along the beach!

I have arranged first class accommodation for DAL's impending trip to Samui.... It's near where the horses are in above post .... he'll be able to have a right old nag too!
