Rent A Laptop?

Featured Replies

Just like the movie “Clear and Present Danger” !

Here in Chiang Mai, you ask how much and they reply “there will be a deposit”

And you say how much will that be?

And they reply “50,000 baht”!!

Sorry to respond like that, but we haven’t found a place willing to rent laptops or desktops, it’s kind of a sad story, because there is a market for rental computers.

Good Luck,

What do you expect?

Someone might walk off with it.

Laptops are portable............ :o

Yes ..... any Internet Cafe will rent by the minute.

You have to use the machine there though.

Expensive on a per minute basis but it saves you the investment

of 50,000THB.

Seriously, I know of no place that advertises this service. But if you offer enough to one of the shops at Pantip, I think money talks.

All the big computer centres (Pantip) have second hand laptops for sale for a few thousend baht. If you don't need anything fancy you can get something for around 3000Bath.
