The Problem With Powerpoint Files On Ipad

Recommended Posts

I'm used to powerpoint. It's not the best app out there, and keynote is much better in some areas, but it's what I use.

And all I wanted to use it from the iPad and give presentations directly from it. Sounds easy, right? Well, it's not. I've tried a bunch of apps, including SlideShark, but my company has a policy that our presentations can't be stored on third party servers and clouds.

Recently I found a solution for the problem with Presentation Note. It's a really simple and useful app and does exactly what I need.

Just wanted to share this with all of you that have the same problem like me,

cheers

whats the name of the app that opens office docs and lets you edit... mainly done from the cloud?? Needed this last week an as usual with apple apps, the name has nothing to do with the function of the app.... Google couldn't help me even.

Same problem as you? god, strike me dead if I ever have to give a PowerPoint presentation.

Reminded me of when I was traveling thru South America, staying at the cheap hostels. Lots of people - mostly the Europeans - were always running around, asking about PowerPoints! Couldn't understand their anxious desire for one of them - until I realized they were looking for places to recharge their cell phone and camera batteries. (In cheap hostels in South America, there are few powerpoints.)

Now you go and slap me back to the world of corporate presentations!

God strike your audience dead if you use PowerPoint! As soon as a PP presentation starts 50% of the audience gives up all hope.
