Rtmp On Port 80 With 3Bb

Featured Replies

Hello

i have an issue with my 3bb connection (i'm based in Rawai, Phuket): i'm a software developper, creating specially web conferencing app and mobiles apps. these apps are using rtmp protocol over port 80 (to bypass firewall rules). while it's working perfectly with all ISP's (tot, truemove 3g, ais 3g etc...), it is not working with 3bb connection (it was ok until a couple of years ago, more or less this started to happen when triple T became 3bb). when using 3bb, rtmp connection are working only on other ports (such as 1935), but i can't change the ports used by my apps, because of firewall matter explained above.

is there a way to fix this ? if not, i'll have to change my isp

thank you for your reply

regards

Gabriel

Did you contact Jasmine/3BB and ask them about this & if so what did they say ?

Most likely there's some 'transparent' proxy server on port 80 messing with you. You can try port 443 (usually reserved for https:// so also hardly ever firewalled, and not 'proxyable')
