Vuze Advertisements And Crashing While Searching

Featured Replies

Anyone having this problem also?

Vuze wants to load an advertisement in my browser and then next search I do it crashes.

Note : being used for legal unprotected downloads... and suggesting otherwise is B.S.

I found this thread at Vuze forum and one Thailand user suggests its because of a country firewall or something. No idea if that is the reason.

I'd recommend to use Transmission instead. It's free, and much better / easier. No weird ads and other Vuze things you don't need, just torrenting...

There's also uTorrent which is reasonable as well. I think Transmission is the best though.

If you watch TV shows, try the TVShows preference pane on tvshowsapp.com

I've used transmission and utorrent, but bittorrent is my favorite of the three. No ads, and the best interface, IMO, if you want to know what's going on. Actually it looks just like utorrent. I don't know which one copied the other... But you don't use any of these clients to search for torrents, only to share them.
