Corporate - What Should I Charge?

Featured Replies

Hello All

I'm meeting with the Thai manager of a Euro-Thai Engineering SME firm tomorrow to teach about 20 adult students from their company.

I imagine it will be General and Business English.

Written, reading and, I guess, predominantly conversation English.

I will be supplying all the supporting materials like worksheets, dialogues, vocab and grammar sheets as needed.

I think it will be for 1 or 2 hours every week.

What should I charge? What is the going rate?

I'm qualified in that I've been teaching here for 6 years, have a non-imm B, and my backrgound and UK degree is in Business and IT.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

and regards to all on here

20 students, 100 baht per head per class. I would try 2,000 baht per class. They may try to play you down to a lower rate, that is up to you but 100 baht per person for an hours english class is well cheap. Plus if you do a really good job the word of mouth will open even more oppertunities for more classes. Good luck!

A good way of looking at it. Go for 2,000!
