For information to they who are interested the bus was at least following their promoted timetable this morning (0700 Am departure from town) not on schedule but anyway brought my better half safe to the airport.

I was at the airport yesterday and notice was pasted on the board. It showed the schedule of the bus from airport to Phuket Town. One departure every 3 hours starting from 0700h and last bus is 1900h.

Why being the more optimum word. It will cost you 4-500 baht to get a taxi to Phuket town. Why not just pay the extra couple of hundred baht? and youve got no waiting around.
