Shop That Can Repair / Solve Problems With Remote Controlled Boat

Hi,

I got a boat for fishing to dump the bait in the water, its remote controlled. It works quite good but once in a while it stops, its like the signal does not come through. I need to take the boat out of the water and touch the wires inside and it starts to work again.

Its probably a loose contact (tried putting it back good) but it just does not solve the problem. Now the question is would there be a remote control shop that could replace the whole insides of the boat with a better transmiter and such. (maybe the best option) or try to trouble shoot the problem.

I live a bit outside of Bangkok in the Bangyai area. I know of some places where they fly remote control planes and such so I might have to ask there but would be nicer if I get some good pointers here.
