March 26, 201312 yr Is it possible to buy duty free Apple Products at Don Muang if leaving for an international destination? I cannot find any reference to the fact with a Google search. Knowing King Power's rep if they are the agent it may be cheaper just to buy before heading to the airport. I don't qualify for the GST refund.
March 26, 201312 yr This question has been asked a few times, albeit about SBIA/BKK, and the answer has been, "No". That said, I do not believe there is any "Duty" added to Apple products. In some cases VAT (7%) is broken out by some retailers and one can use the "VAT Refund for Tourists" process. Do you have a particular product in mind? A price-point? I think iStudio, the local brick/mortar Premium Reseller, is matching the Apple/TH on-line store for prices. http://store.apple.com/th
March 26, 201312 yr Author Thanks for the reply. When I googled apple products duty free Don Muang nothing relevant came up so I am not surprised at your reply. I keep an eye on the prices between the Apple Store and iStudio and they always seem to be the same. I was after a 128 gig iPad. Sick of lugging my MBP around.
