I'm just wondering:

In my bank (Bangkok Bank) one can open a company savings account without a WP. To open a company current account one needs a WP.

I know that if you want to write checks, this is only possible with a current account... but I don't want to write checks - so what could I possibly need a current account for?

Except for the checkbook-thing, is there anything else you can do with a current account, that you can't do as well with a savings account?

Thai banks are very wary of giving current accounts.

Sad endictment of the Thai people I guess.

Apart from cheques I doubt there is any benefit over a Savings account.
