There are ever changing policies at different border points. No rhyme, less reason. As you say... T i T :o On another thread yesterday, a punter reported being granted his last tourist visa in the Thai Embassy in Laos...for having had too many already.

Westerners are mostly accepted at face value by Thai Consulates and Embassies. A ' scruff ' might be asked to provide evidence,

To all of you who are afraid of not getting let in:

For over a year I leave/enter the Kingdom at Poi Pet every 30 days. No problem .. even with overstay!

:o I think I will go to Penang after all the comments about Laos!

Anyways, if I have troubles to get in back, I will jsut discover other countries for while! :D

I'll be back in Thailand for sure!

I just wanna say that I don't have a passport with a lot of entries for Thailand!

I got 1(30 days)2003, 1(60+30 days)2004

So I think there's no abuse! :D
