i'm new to this forum and i'm wondering why every thai girl i met say "hey, this is my boyfriend" while pointing on someone on tv (famous singer, football player etc...) or on facebook or somewhere else. <deleted> is "my boyfriend" thing? lol

No i'm not jealous i've just never seen it before.

Probably the same reason people call me Michael Owen or David Beckham. What that reason is I have no idea.

It's like their wish list. They wish that famous person was their boyfriend or husband, hubby, etc.. It's not only in Thailand... Happens everywhere in the world..

Haha - I do that and ask them which one I am? They certainly prefer Mr Bean to Johnny English. As long as it makes me some Baht I don't mind
