solo siam
I've just seen a press release (on a website) regarding UBC buying up High Definition content from Voom, The US High Definition TV program company. Does anyone know anything about UBC's plans to show these programs, or other High Def content? http://www.rainbow-media.com/rainbow/media...jsp?nodeid=4906
monty
Looks good, but I assume this can only come at a hefty premium price to pay! HDTV takes up a big amount of bandwidth, which for a sat tv provider is the biggest cost after buying the rights of the programs they transmit. New receiver boxes will be required as well, capabable of handling HDTV! Technical no problem, since a lot of bandwidth came avalable on the Thaicom3 satellite since iPSTAR is moving their internet customers to the new Thaicom 4. solo siam
I'd probably be willing to pay double what I pay for UBC Platinum for HD Content, as long as there was lots and of good quality.
