Congrats to the girls...Retained the WSL Title...just!

These International games are going to be the ruination of our season, Lovren abdominal and Markovic suspected muscle tear now. You couldn't plan this <deleted> if you tried.

Ferguson just said his players were not fit to be selected and still played them the following weekend. FA just turned a blind eye, presumably because they were frightened of him.

Yeah I don't see why we don't do that, judging by last night's report ii don't know we even bother having a national team, just scrap it.

Well in case you hadn't noticed you spent money on players to improve your squad to accommodate injuries such as these, anyway out of that lot only 2 are first team regulars, next you'll be saying the injuries are the reason that your 9th in the league !

Keep givin' Alfiebiggrin.png Four of those mentioned all started the match in which we caned your shower, just before the International break when most of the injuries kicked in. Two others came on during the game.....which leaves Flanno, who, by the way was our regular full back until being injured, so......which 2 do you mean? Don't bother Mr know nothingcoffee1.gif

Whats the team that played Spurs got to do with it ? so because they played against us that makes them regulars does it ? cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

Accommodating injuries from international breaks isn't why we signed a bunch of new players.

Another example if one was needed of players not being allowed access to Twitter. Simply not necessary and pointless to have tweeted on the matter, simply opening up a can of worms.

If have no problem with a player coming out and saying he's not fit enough to do himself or the team justice. He's played a lot of football recently including 120 minutes in your Capital One tie. The number of domestic fixtures these days fatigue players, especially nineteen year olds that haven't reached their physical potential yet and whilst its not Hodgson's job to help Liverpool or any other club it is his responsibility to understand the busy domestic season and select the players that are fully match fit.

I also think its very inappropriate to question and manager. clubs training systems in front of the press.

So now your saying they are not regulars, you need to make up your mind !

Anyway why wouldn't they play us off the park? after all your reserves cost more than that Spurs team thumbsup.gif

If he's tired this far into the season,i wonder how many of the remaining 31 league games, Fa cup, Champions league, Capital cup and Europa cup games is he going to play in ?

"Fast players would have a second day recovery while other players can work on that day."

Anyone got a clue on who are classified as fast players ?

I think Hodgson's training methods are akin to making them run over hot coals. Then he's baffled as to why they have blisters on their feet.

hopefully all of them. he can have a rest during those pointless england international breaks.

a world cup, straight back into pre-season and then a busy start to a new season and you don't think it feasible that a 19 year old kid might need a rest?

Where have I mentioned that he doesn't need a rest ? all I did was ask how many games was he going to play in sad.png

Footnote : The last game Sterling played for England was the 19th June, Sterling started his pre-season on about the 21st July, not exactly "straight back into pre-season" rolleyes.gif

Better for Liverpool and England that he plays back to back CL games against Real Madrid. He'll develop and improve by playing against quality sides rather than by playing against nonentities at international level who are more liable to kick him out of the match. If it's absolutely vital for Sterling to play against San Marino and Estonia, then it's time to pack up.

When an England manager feels the need to big uo San Marino and Estonia its time to pack up.

One of the Estonia defenders was a part timer , his full time job is a copper and he still done a job on or striker and attacking midfield!!!!

Yeh could not believe Rodgers played Sterling for 2 hrs in the league cup . The lad could hardly stand-up at the end .
