Yeah I don't see why we don't do that, judging by last night's report ii don't know we even bother having a national team, just scrap it.

wilai
Keep givin' Alfie Four of those mentioned all started the match in which we caned your shower, just before the International break when most of the injuries kicked in. Two others came on during the game.....which leaves Flanno, who, by the way was our regular full back until being injured, so......which 2 do you mean? Don't bother Mr know nothing

carmine
Another example if one was needed of players not being allowed access to Twitter. Simply not necessary and pointless to have tweeted on the matter, simply opening up a can of worms. If have no problem with a player coming out and saying he's not fit enough to do himself or the team justice. He's played a lot of football recently including 120 minutes in your Capital One tie. The number of domestic fixtures these days fatigue players, especially nineteen year olds that haven't reached their physical potential yet and whilst its not Hodgson's job to help Liverpool or any other club it is his responsibility to understand the busy domestic season and select the players that are fully match fit. I also think its very inappropriate to question and manager. clubs training systems in front of the press.

I think Hodgson's training methods are akin to making them run over hot coals. Then he's baffled as to why they have blisters on their feet.

Where have I mentioned that he doesn't need a rest ? all I did was ask how many games was he going to play in Footnote : The last game Sterling played for England was the 19th June, Sterling started his pre-season on about the 21st July, not exactly "straight back into pre-season" Edited October 14, 2014 by alfieconn
champers
Better for Liverpool and England that he plays back to back CL games against Real Madrid. He'll develop and improve by playing against quality sides rather than by playing against nonentities at international level who are more liable to kick him out of the match. If it's absolutely vital for Sterling to play against San Marino and Estonia, then it's time to pack up.

One of the Estonia defenders was a part timer , his full time job is a copper and he still done a job on or striker and attacking midfield!!!!
