Easy Pass For Tollways

Featured Replies

Apart from what I have read here, is there any other place one could apply for an "easy pass" apart from at the offices located next to the booths themselves?

Recent information on where to get them would be much appreciated.

Stopped by the building by one of the tollways yesterday...

Was told that all they are currently all gone, so would have to wait until more were available

Asked (in Thai) if they were gone just at this station or at all stations...

Was told completely out at all stations but to try back next week, as may be some in by then

Also understand that only place to apply is at one of the buildings next to the toll booths (that's where I got one for the other car)

Go inside, fill out the form, give them my passport to make a copy... Pay deposit of 800 thb and then gave her another 500 thb to put on the card

I thought the deposit thing was abolished and there was a plan to top up at 7-11?

Suggest to my wife we get a couple of units and she said the time I spend out of Thailand the credits would expire like some sim cards do.

Is this a fact?.

Not sure if the funds ever expire... Would recommend calling 1543 to check

You can top up the card at 7/11 or at a bank. I got my at the auto show, but long time to wait until the next show.

How do you Top up at a 7/11, do you just take the card supplied, and hand over the amount you want topping up?

Thanks

JOHN

Some banks provide online facility to top up the cards..
