I think you are giving too much credit to some sensationalist reporting.

I am not denying the existence of right-wing nationalist parties in Britain nor Germany, but it looks like your source is not very informed about the legal framework, nor the proportion of these phenomena on the overall political scale.

There is no "Nazi Party" in German parliament, and the BNP is a small minority in Britain. Let's hope it will stay that way.

I am not saying these tendencies aren't worth of discussion, but let's look at it in perspective.

I agree 100%. It's important to discuss these things, so that these creatures can be seen for what they are. The way to beat them is through education and the ballot box, not by banning them (which is IMHO an outrageous infringement of freedom of speech, no matter how odious they are - provided they don't break the law).

There have always been extremists in every country in Europe, and economic prosperity - or lack of it - affects the rise and fall of extremism, through demonisation. Perspective is indeed the operative word, here.

Out of interest, Interpol are of the view that the most radical and growing bunch of extremists are from - wait for it - Switzerland. Can you believe that? But it's true.

No, I used to be an actor and I took it seriously as an art that I was trying to perfect. One of the reasons I quite was because of the talentless hacks you were able to get as far as they did on looks. I hate people who use physical beauty to get ahead. One must have skills to be respected. Another reason was the business is always looking for the next good looking woman, and they don't care if she can act. So, instead of paying a known actress they find a new no name they can control and pay less then sell her as the next hot item. America buys this and this talentless girl being used by hollywood is lifted up to an unworthy position within the business making it harder for the real art and artist to make and thus lower the over all standard of the art.
