May 17, 201312 yr Here it is- I hope to take delivery by late next week- it looks black because it's in the shade, but it's actually metallic midnight sapphire blue:image.jpg Very Nice! Is that Real motorsports on Ramkhamhaeng Road? If so, do they sell full power superbikes now? The ZX-14R is only available as a full power model regardless of where it's purchased- there are no restricted versions of it sold anywhere- their Z1000 is also full power- I'm getting the US-spec version (200hp/210hp with ram air- with my mods I'm hoping for ~205hp at the rear wheel, but the crappy local gas may drop that 5hp or so).The only restricted large displacement sportbike that I know of that's sold as new through a dealership in Thailand is the CBR1000RR at Big Wing (and that's only because there's a Japan-spec version- most manufacturers don't make a Japan domestic version of their large sportbikes, but Honda is popular enough to get away with it)- there are also differences between the US and Euro-spec ZX-10R, but Kawi dumped it from their Thai line-up. Yes actually the ZX10 was why I was asking, I was considering one a couple of years ago but a forum member bought one from Kawasaki Rama 9 that turned out to be restricted and he had a hard time de-restricting it (don't think he ever got it running 100% as far as I know). Good to hear the ZX14 hasn't been messed with...

Good to hear the ZX14 hasn't been messed with... There's a simple ECU flash available for it now, but it took a couple of years to be developed- the US-spec version was restricted about 20hp for emissions. That's the main reason for the huge stock cans on the 14R- it conforms to emissions and noise specs around the world.
