Anyone know where I can buy a lead to connect small refrigerator to car cigarette lighter? I don't even know where there are any large car accessory shops.

Halfords in the Uk sell them,as do most truck stops.

Have a special adaptor to up the 12v from your car to 240v that your electrical appliance requires.

The fridge has an input where you plug in a wire with a lead to the cigarette lighter. The fridge only holds about 3 cans of coke.

It's only a small fridge for a car although it can be converted to be used in the house.

Commonly referred to as a converter, and actually also very available around Bangkok, but I think he means a simple 12v car power adapter and any shop like an Autobachs or I think I've even seen them at TESCO's in the past or the kiosks that surround them. Then of course there's Chutuchak downtown China town in Bangkok. You may have to buy a non-essential accessory that has one and trash the accessory to get the plug from it..

OK, it's a 12V fridge smile.png

Take it along to your local car electrical place, then your normal electrical place, then your computer place.

Failing that, next time you're in Bangkok try Fortune Town or Zeer (out of town but more likely to have).

Can you post a photo of the 12V connection on the fridge.

I cannot post a photo because every time I plug my camera into my computer I get an electric shock. The connections on my fridge, at the top there is a warm and cold switch, in the middle it says dc 12v. at the socket, at the bottom, ac 220v. I am going to Bangkok in July, I will go to Zeer or Fortune Town. Thanks again.

Get used to this in Thailand unless you rewire your entire house and still that doesn't account for all the other places it is possible there rolleyes.gifsad.png ..

Good luck though, those are 2 good starting points..
